In June, CWM sent the following to Imperial Recycling:
- 2,004 lbs. of cardboard
- 109 lbs. of paper
- 211 lbs. of plastic
- 2,604 lbs. of wood
CWM also delivered 10 pounds of Styrofoam to the village of Western Springs and Groot picked up 8 cubic yards of mixed recyclables – 950 pounds of cans, bottles, plastic bottles, newspaper, etc.
In total for June, we diverted 5,888 pounds from going to a landfill! So far, through 2023, CWM was able to divert a total of 31,170 pounds of recyclable materials from a landfill!
